SM City Baliwag Supports International Peace Prize Winner's "Gift of Hope" Project

“Change the world one heart at a time”, these words came from the young hero, Cris “Kesz” Valdez during the recently held KidsRights’ International Children’s Peace Prize 2012 in Hague, Netherlands where he won the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for Children.

In time for the National Children’s Month Celebration, the thirteen-year-old advocate will share the message of hope among the mall goers through the Gifts of Hope Booth at SM City Baliwag. A project of the Championing Community Children organization with Kesz as its founder, the donation drive aims to give hope to street kids and show them that they can take their future into their own hands. 

Mall goers may donate toiletries like soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpastes, face towels as well as slippers and first aid kits. The contributed items called the “Gifts of Hope” will be given to deprived children from underprivileged communities in the country. 

To date, Kesz and his team have distributed 5,000 “Gifts of Hope” to over 10,000 children nationwide. 

Shoppers can also join Kesz in changing the world one heart at a time. Simply visit the Championing Community Children Exhibit until October 31 and drop your parcels of love at the Gift of Hope Booth located at the Event Center of SM City Baliwag.
